Product availability
Products that require physical delivery have a lead time is dependent on stock availability at our suppliers. Every effort is made to ensure that the goods are dispatched from our offices within 2 working days. We are not liable for the delivery time taken by the postal or currier services. Completion of the delivery is usually within a week. We will inform you of the approximate delivery of stock that is not immediately available. Orders cannot be cancelled once the products have been dispatched by our suppliers. You have the choice of altering your order or requesting a refund before the products are dispatched by our suppliers. Once your order has been dispatched from our office we will notify you of the tracking number. Some of the larger products may require different method of shipping which will affect the shipping costs.
Where payment is made by method of direct deposit or EFT the order will be processed once the payment is reflected as paid into our bank account.
Classified Advertisements
Products listed in this section are sold on behalf of customers. Every product is checked and to our best knowledge as operating in a satisfactory condition. These products do not carry any form of warrantee unless otherwise stated. Purchases are not refundable unless otherwise stated.
Delivery Policy
When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree all our terms and conditions as displayed. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website.
Shipping
Delivery Address:
Please ensure the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises. Where possible please use a business address for delivery as the courier will not leave a package without signature.
Undeliverable packages:
Occasionally packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this event take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for re-shipping.
Refunds / Returns Policy
Should you for any reason wish to cancel your purchase you will be liable for a 10% handling fee. You must advise us in writing of your cancellation. The goods must be returned to us undamaged in the original packaging, also undamaged within 10 calendar days. The cost of shipping and returning the product is for your account which will be reflected on your account.
In the case of faulty goods in warranty, the first point of contact will be Miniature Railways. All returned items must be accompanied with the original proof of purchase. Once we receive the defective products they will be tested and a warranty claim approved or rejected. If approved the goods will be repaired or replaced. Faulty goods are returned to the supplier and warranties are those as stated by the supplier. If the warranty claim is rejected, the reasons for this rejection will be communicated to the client who may then make a decision as to how they would like to proceed.
It is recommended that all returns are insured and shipped with a tracking number. Returns that are lost or damaged in transit no refund or return will be considered. Prices may change without notice. Prices are in Rands and include VAT.
Paying for purchases is via EFT. Non payment with 5 days will result in the order being cancelled unless a payment date is arranged.
All Euro prices displayed on the web page are subject to the rate of exchange value. The multiplication factor is also subject to the rate of exchange.

Law
The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.
