New Release: Märklin class 75 steam locomotive, model number 39753

I have been involved with Märklin model trains for more than 50 years now. I have witnessed their locomotive models from the basic design like that of the production that started in 1935 to the hi tech models of today.
The models that are made now just get better every year, year after year as technology improves. Electronic circuit boards were first introduced in 1983 ironically one of the first locomotives with this technology was the T5 locomotive, model number 3312. The era I version of the class 75 steam locomotive. The original mechanical reverse unit was now driven by an electronic board doing away with the loud mechanical click and bright headlight as the direction was changed. With the new electronics the headlights and tail lights now changed with the direction of travel. The locomotives were still conventionally operated, but via the electronic board the light bulbs were now a voltage of 5 volts giving a less bright light, making the locomotive lights more realistic. This was the last development of conventional operational locomotives made by Märklin.
In the Märklin video link, it shows the schematic build of the new Märklin class 75 steam locomotive, model number 39753. With the motor in the boiler, the sound decoder and speaker tucked away below the floor of the cab the modern high tech locomotive has all of the details of that of the actual locomotive and is built to a precision 1:87 scale model.
The modern locomotive now has a decoder that controls the LED lights, smoke unit and 21 different locomotive operating sounds.
Watching the video you will see a steam locomotive in operation, then the class 75 model in operation, sounding just like the real thing!
The development of model trains is also highlighted in the video showing the new Märklin class 103 electric locomotive, model number 39170. Here we see the driver of the locomotive pop up according to the direction of the travel of the locomotive. The pantographs on the locomotive can be raised or lowered, with actual sound effects that one would hear if standing at a station when the pantographs or raised for the locomotive to begin its journey. The locomotive also has a digital decoder with extensive sound functions and LED lights.
